Amit Bajaj, PhD, CCC-SLP teaches full-time at Emerson College, Boston, in both on-ground and online program modalities. Originally from India, he serves as Technical Advisor to The Indian Stammering Association (TISA), supporting the stuttering community across the Indian subcontinent through mentoring and coaching initiatives. As a person who stutters, he draws on both lived and professional experiences to inform curriculum development for graduate-level courses in stuttering at Emerson and the mentor-guided desensitization program at TISA. Amit lives with his wife in Somerville, MA and enjoys cooking, working out, and listening to live music in his neighborhood.
