Carrie Kerstein, MS, CCC-SLP is a speech-language therapist based in Massachusetts, where she co-owns a pediatric speech-language private practice focused on a broad range of communication profiles. She is honored to partner with children, teenagers, and their families to work toward more joyful and confident communication.
In addition to the foundational knowledge about stuttering and counseling gained in her graduate coursework while earning her M.S. from Emerson College, her clinical practice and expertise has been shaped by experiences with clients and families, the stuttering community, and continuing education. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Avoidance Reduction Therapy for Stuttering (ARTS®).
Carrie has been an instructor for Emerson College’s online graduate program, Speech@Emerson, since 2019. She is the topic chair for the Massachusetts Speech-Language-Hearing Association's stuttering advisory group, and has held the Spero Stuttering Ally of Stuttering® Seal since 2021. Outside of professional endeavors, Carrie enjoys cooking, hiking, and recently completed her second marathon.
