Daniela Veronica Zackiewicz
Daniela Zackiewicz is a Brazilian speech-language pathologist. She graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1995 and completed her master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences at USP School of Medicine in 1999. That same year, she founded the Brazilian Stuttering Association (ABRA GAGUEIRA), contributing as the director for 15 years. In 2014, in partnership with speech-language pathologist Luciana Contesini, Daniela created the Fluency Workshop (Oficina de Fluência), bringing a new model of action and social transformation in the area of stuttering. In 2018, she earned the title of Fluency Specialist by the Federal Council of Speech Therapy in Brazil, and in 2019, she completed the Palin Parent-Child Interaction training from the Michael Palin Centre offered by The Stuttering Foundation.
Daniela has worked with children, adolescents, and adults who stutter for over 25 years, and her experience goes beyond the professional sphere. Married to a person who stutters and the mother of two children who stutter, she wants to ensure a better quality of life for people who stutter.
